Listen. Im proper sick of people looking down their noses at sex work like we're some kinda second class citizens. Ive been doing this job for years now and I know exactly what Im about. Its work. Hard work actually. Anyone who thinks this is easy money hasnt spent a night listening to some blokes problems while trying to keep em happy and make sure everyone walks away satisfied.
My mam used to give me grief about it but now shes just glad I pay my bills and dont ask her for handouts. Thats the thing people dont get. This is a proper job. I set my own hours. I choose my clients. I decide my rates. Tell me how thats different from any other freelance gig? Bet most office workers would kill for that level of control.
Yeah sometimes its weird. Sometimes its funny. Sometimes its just another day at the office. But Im not gonna apologise for making money and being good at what I do. Sex work is work. Full stop.
